LCV Sales
Domestic sales of new light commercial vehicles (bakkies and minibuses) โ at 13,218 units during February 2026 โ recorded an 11,9% increase compared to the 11,816 units sold in February 2025.
MCV Sales
Medium commercial vehicle sales โ at 720 units in February 2026 โ were exactly the same as in February 2025.
HCV Sales
Heavy truck and bus sales โ at 1,941 units in February 2026 โ reflected a 13,6% increase compared to the 1,708 units sold in February 2025.

Retail logistics expert Dr Michael Schedlbauer works as industry manager for grocery retail at the corporate headquarters of TGW Logistics Group in Marchtrenk, Austria. After working in a variety of operational and strategic roles at Siemens AG for eight years, Schedlbauer joined TGW in 2016.

Patrik Glas Crommert is currently MD of Scania Finance Southern and Eastern Africa. He has spent the last 20 years in finance and general management positions in large corporates, of which the last 10 were in Africa.
