Warehousing award for Fiat Chrysler

Consistent and reliable service delivery from the South African arm of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles sees its parts warehouse scoop a Branch of the Year award for the second time in three years

The South African arm of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA), in partnership with warehouse service provider DSV Solutions, has scooped a Branch of the Year award for the second time in three years.

The award recognises consistent and reliable service delivery, and was precipitated by the fact that the partnership has consistently managed to exceeded financial and operational targets.

Johan Dekker, MD of DSV Solutions, said the FCA project was the best performing within the DSV group, with team members managing to surpass their key performance indicators (KPIs) on a consistent basis and scoring a 96 percent result on their operations assessment.

The award also honoured a commitment to quality, since the partnership needed to meet global standards to be in the running for the accolade. It also needed to add value for all stakeholders involved. To achieve this, the venture was required to meet various KPIs around customer satisfaction.

“DSV has been our warehouse service provider and transport logistics partner since 2007,” said Steven Hood, FCA’s head of aftersales. “On behalf of the business, I would like to thank the company for its dedication, hard work and willingness to go the extra mile, which has culminated in this award.”
