Celebrating local manufacturing

Heading to the Nasrec Expo Centre, between May 21 and 23, is the first-ever local Southern African Manufacturing Expo โ€“ a brand-new expo that will celebrate and showcase South Africaโ€™s manufacturing capabilities across a wide variety of industry sectors.

With a specific focus on Gauteng, this show will position leading local industries to thousands of potential national and international investors, demonstrating that the power of local manufacturing is the key to unlocking vast economic empowerment, growth, development and investment. The expo promises to be interactive, educational and practical.

While there will be a range of local exhibitors at the show, visitors can also join the free-to-attend seminars hosted by the South African Institution of Mechanical Engineering (SAIMechE).

This will be populated with informative topics that address the latest industry trends, technology and legislation. A line-up of knowledgeable and experienced industry speakers will share a wealth of knowledge over the three days of the exhibition.

In association with the South African Capital Equipment Export Councilย (SACEEC), and in partnership with the Artisan Training Institute (ATI), the expo will also offer a Skills Development Zone.

ATI, which is making a substantial difference in the technical training environment as it drives quality training throughout its operations, will be displaying its technical skills in an interactive workshop setting at the show.
